School and… throat sucks big time.
My throat is giving me issues again. This time, there weren’t any sore… but some inflammation inside that that is producing pus which the taste was absolutely horrendous. It only got worse yesterday night when I almost puke in the middle of the night because the pus was horrible.
Like most mornings lately, I woke up saying ‘shit’ the first thing in a brand new day because I found myself late. I knew I had to cab down to school because I had a presentation going at 8am. I had one too many times taken a bus ride or a taxi ride so slow that I had the urge to smack the driver from behind the head. Today was it… even though I didn’t really smack him, I was pretty annoyed.
There is a very high chance I might not be able to make it through my Japanese language with a borderline pass because I just can’t remember those odd characters. Malay language is a billion times easier and I am sure I will make my child take up Malay as his second language. No Chinese. No Chinese.
I absconded from way too many lectures recently and I am missing out more than I could possibly catch up with. I don’t know what to do now… I think I will just silently pray that the luck that was with me during my O’ Level Mathematics is with me now.
My mum didn’t say anything about my attendance in school even though she had realized I have been going to school late and returning earlier than expected. When school first started, I would otherwise leave home at an unearthly hour and return only after dinner.
Today, I had the very strong urge to go to work instead of school. I don’t think I have to mention the obvious like school is dreadful and work is so much more enjoyable. If you think I wasn’t so going to this…
Two days ago I asked Elaine to put me on schedule tomorrow.
I did.
Right, I was going to abscond from my Management Principles lecture so I can go to work and on the day after tomorrow, I would be on full shift because I had no school.
Guess what? I have a test coming tomorrow morning and I am still blogging happily away… I so dread tomorrow morning because I need to bring extra clothes, necessities for a nice shower, laptop and lecture notes.
“I think you will be seeing a fever-stricken and ashen-faced Jun Jie for the next two days.”
