Two words were right.

The slogan, “Fun People Serving Fun People,” on the back of our uniform is partially right.

Only the first two words were right.

The carnival staffs and some formal carnival staffs had an gathering yesterday. Instead of an extravagant outing, we planned a simple dinner at Far East. You know, we didn’t want to spend much also.

After waiting, which seemed like an eternity,  for Sri to knock off from work, we occupied one-third of a train carriage because there were fourteen of us – seven gentlemen and seven ladies. Even.

The diner we were supposedly to dine in were closed yesterday and it was kind of like a wet blanket to our exuburence and excitment of meeting each other again (after a series of unfortunate incidences). Nonetheless, we decided to settle our dinner at another nearby restaurant that serves Indonesian food.

Thereafter, we laugh and shout and scream and talk all the way to The Heeren and then to the Istana Park where we decided that we should just chill around and take photographs. Even though most headed home early (just to ease Monday blues tomorrow), six of us continued to stay behind to just kill off some time.

During which, we chatted and took even more photographs. It was also when all of us received a message from Nurza saying she enjoyed working with us at Escape Theme Park and that she appreciate the good times we had.

James, Farhan, Yasin, Adzri and Ijan decided to collaborate together to send a message made up of many messages. It works this way: each of them sent a word; “Thank you very, very much.” So it made up a message when she receives them in order. I did not join in because I replied just a second before they came out with the idea.

Either way, it was an awesome day out and I look forward to another such gathering.

Man, I know this entry is so dry and lacking in humor.

That’s because I am very sleepy, now.

Update
Oh! I had forgotten to blog that I had found out Haliejah’s dirty little secret. I think she likes spanking strangers’ asses. She accidentally did this to one random lady in her fifties. This loony lady was cursing Haliejah for her inappropriate behavior – to which, I laugh at her like hell and I think she saw me laughing.

And… James and Nur Aisha both have issues with each other. James keep asking Aisha to talk to either the grasses on the ground, or any doors he could find – and then be friend with them. In my opinion, I think Aisha have a bigger issue, actually.

The ladies. Here clockwise: Aisha, Sri, Haliejah, Faizah, Liyana, Aisha and Ijan.

We were the longer-serving staffs except for Kay Peng who joined our family in the midst of it’s break up. Here clockwise: Kay Peng, Me, James, Adzri, Farhan, Yasin and Zul.

Yes, one-third of a train car was taken up by us. And here, you can see from me that we squeeze quite a lot for this picture.

My dinner: Spicy Indonesian fried rice + two teh peng. (Psst! That guy in red has major issues with teh peng).

At the Istana Park, Sri chooses from a row of guys. (Psst! Girls have their needs!)

Only the five of us and Ijan (who took this photograph) stayed behind after most left. And for the caption of this photograph, I leave it to you. Maybe I should have a caption contest for this photograph, then the winner gets Snickers!

I seriously don’t know Zul had been that interested in my shoe.

I saved the best picture for the last!
